Short Tales

This Project consists of four short animations that follow a character on an adventure.
My goal was to focus on storytelling in efficient way to convey a character's journey through distinct scenarios that form a cohesive narrative.

The four shorts are diverse scenarios, each highlighting the character's challenges along their path.
The style I have pursued is handmade, with painted elements featuring organic and irregular shapes.

To achieve this, I utilized a VR program called "Medium" to create the characters and most of the assets. "Medium" is a perfect tool for generating organic shapes, adding a unique and visually captivating aesthetic to the project. Additionally, I employed procedural textures to streamline the workflow and avoid creating massive textures for the 3D landscapes developed in VR.
